This HIV home testing kit, the Dried Blood Spot (DBS) HIV Test, makes testing easy, reliable and convenient by allowing individuals to order a free self-sampling kit online. People are able to take their own sample in the privacy of their homes and send it to a laboratory for testing and results management.
DBS Facebook Campaign
Pozhet is in partnership with Multicultural HIV and Hepatitis Service to roll out a series of Dried Blood Spot (DBS) HIV testing Social Media Campaign via its Facebook account. This campaign aims to raise awareness about the Dried Blood Spot (DBS) HIV testing program in NSW and reach metro and rural audiences (English speaking hetrosexuals) as well as some identified CALD communities (such as Chinese Mandarin/Cantonese, Vietnamese, Spanish, Indonesian, Portuguese, Thai and Arabic segments). This Facebook campaign had achieved increasing website traffic and converting people to sign up and use the DBS HIV Testing program. At last round of Campaign (September 2017), it had reached 186,283 people and achieved 3,028 Link clicks.
December round of campaign will commence 24 November to 8 December 2018. A social media toolkit is developed to provide guidelines on how you can support and promote the new home HIV test on your service or organisation’s social media platforms with new and updated animations and messages.
