My Health Record is an online summary of your key health information. You can choose to share your health information with your doctors, hospitals and other healthcare providers. Later this year, a secure My Health Record will be created for you.
The project aims to give patients and doctors access to timely medical information — test results, referral letters and organ donation information, for starters — but there are concerns about the safety of some of our most personal, sensitive data.

HIV testing week starts Friday the 1st of June to 7th of June 2018. The testing week reminds us to reflect on our sexual relationships and to make sure we know our HIV status especially if we have been engaged in sexual relationship with someone from countries where HIV is highly prevalent.

Despite dramatic advances in HIV treatment and care, heterosexual people living with HIV remain a less visible and understood community compared to HIV positive gay and bisexual men.
A short 90 second video has been developed by Pozhet to raise awareness in the general community about heterosexual people and HIV.  The project was lead by the Pozhet Consumer Group who played a key role from initial stages through to the final animation.

The key messages on this short video are that people with HIV on treatment can lead long healthy lives, have children and have sex without passing on HIV. In Australia, one in five people diagnosed with HIV are heterosexual.

The video will be launched on Monday 4th June at the Redfern Community Health Centre 103-105 Redfern Street, at 1030am, Morning tea will be provided and all are welcome to attend
